Our commitments

In addition to the experience and the wonders you’ll enjoy on the TDG 2024, we want to raise your awareness of issues that are close to our hearts. . Our values revolve around 3 main points:
the environment – safety – people.

3 values specific to our mountain activities.

Safety will be addressed in the form of prevention and awareness workshops in the TDG village. The environment theme is being developed in partnership with the “POW – Protect Our Winters” association, which is lending its expertise to the project. They’ll be helping us to change the way we travel to our favourite playgrounds. You can meet them in our village, but you can also support them by becoming a member or making a donation.

What is the association’s mission?

For many of us, winter is not just a passion, but a way of life. What’s more, the winter sports industry represents a significant part of the French economy. But winters are becoming shorter and less reliable. The last decade has been the warmest on record, and our mountains are suffering more than anywhere else. The average temperature in the Mont Blanc region has risen by 1.5°C in 75 years, twice the global average.

Climate change knows no borders, and if we want to save our playgrounds, our industry, our resorts and our communities from the effects of climate change, it’s time to act, together.
