The story begins on August 8, 1786, and never ends. From the 1st ascent of Mont-Blanc by Jacques Balmat and Dr Michel Paccard, to the 1st Winter Olympics in 2024, the great feats of famous mountaineers and the development of trail running with the UTMB, Chamonix has always offered an exceptional playground for great sporting and human adventures.
